AUDIT PREPARATION

​

  • Selection of the product or product line to be audited
  • Study the Drawing, DFMEA,PFMEA & Process Flow Diagram
  • Study Control Plan, Defect Statistics & testing reports
  • Select the departments to audit
  • Preparation can be based on Recall of the product too
  • Preparation can be based on specific customer related problem
  • Preparation can be based on warranty issue as well

ONSITE AUDIT

  • Auditor verifies the compliance of each of the requirements at the Gemba Site
  • Onsite Audit includes Gemba of the departments , verification of documentation and interviewing the employees.
  • Inspection will be two fold: 1.Gemba Inspection of Documents and 2. Gemba Visual Inspection

AUDIT REPORT

  • After Gemba, all the findings are noted
  • Strengths of the Supply Chain Partner is highlighted along with areas of improvement
  • Recommendations are proposed in the report
  • Reports will be score based on the supplier’s ability to meet the expected requirements
  • Photographs will be taken as visual records 

CONSENSUS AND CLCA

  • If any Non Conformity is seen. It will be discussed with the supplier.
  • The report will be jointly reviewed with supplier
  • If Root Cause Analysis is requested by the supplier or customer then AI will perform the same
  • Closed loop Corrective Action will be initiated with the supplier
  • Follow up of CLCA can be AI responsibility as per customer request
